The photo above is of a sun halo together with sun dogs; The Vikings believed they were wolves chasing the sun around the heavens, but never quite catching him. I saw this when I was out walking a week ago when the temperature was very low. The phenomena is caused by ice crystals high in the atmosphere: I love the North.

As the temperature plummets again here in Sweden, and much as I enjoy the winter here, I am already looking forward to getting out and playing again. Some more shows have come in for 2022 and thanks for the offers of house concerts which have come in to fill some of the gaps in February.
I am very pleased to announce two UK festivals this summer: Rhythm Tree on the Isle of Wight on July 8th and the Ely Folk Festival on July 10th. Also a special gig at the Holybourne Theatre in Alton Hants with singer Rowan Godel on July 9th.
I will kick off the New Year with a duo show in my home town of Malmköping, together with my friend Gustav Andersson on piano. It is a luxury to play with such a good player. There will also be tours in Denmark, Germany and more. Meanwhile, have a good Christmas and stay well, see you in ’22. More details here
