I have been asked to join the farewell tour of Oysterband with June Tabor in the UK in October. Their regular cello player Adrian Oxaal is also the lead guitarist in the band James who just had an unexpected hit record and are whisking him off to tour the US and Brazil in October. Oysterband and June Tabor turned to me, since I knew most of the tunes and I agreed to join them to the UK dates. Although I already had my own solo tour booked at this time, it was possible to reschedule a couple of my shows to be able to play both tours. I am looking forward to both showcasing my new album and to reconnect with June, Oysterband and the Oyster fans. My date at the Prince Albert in Stroud has now been moved to 6 April 2025 and The Canopy Theatre in Beccles to November 8th 2025; thanks to the respective promoters for their understanding and flexibility. Unfortunately I will not now be able to join Latin Quarter as support at Bush Hall London on October 19th.
I just came back from Germany and Denmark where I had a two week tour and played all the tracks from my new album. In October I will have the occasional guest with me on stage. I am very happy to confirm that fiddle player Ben Paley will be with me for the show at The Green Note London and will join me for a few songs. Other collaborations to be announced.
